The FrSky D4R-II is a small but fully functional 4 channel full range receiver from FrSky. The receiver features 4 traditional PWM channels but can also be set to use CPPM. When using CPPM and a CPPM capable flight controller you are able to use 8 channels over one wire!
The receiver features both a analog and digital data port. You can use analog sensors at the analog port (for example, a lipo voltage sensor) and at the digital port you can hook up a digital sensor hub and use FrSky sensors like GPS, Variometer, temperature and RPM.
De D4R-II works great with a lot of flight controllers. It is possible to hookup Baseflight or Cleanflight (naze32) to the D4R-II and transmit all data (gps, accelerometer, lipo voltage) from the flight controller back to your FrSky transmitter on the ground. Awesome!
The D4R-II works with all FrSky two-way telemetry modules/receivers: DFT, DJT, DHT and DHT-U.
And the D4R-II also works perfectly fine with the FrSky Taranis (X9D) and FrSky Taranis Plus (X9D). The D4R-II works with both EU-firmware and non-EU firmware transmitters!
